Esther (Bailey) Smith

Esther Smith, 73, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home.

Esther was born in Big Spring, Texas to Harol and Clarice Bailey. She was a homemaker and attended Bethany Baptist Church. Esther was raised in and formerly of Big Spring, Texas. She enjoyed reading and writing and her favorite book in the Bible was Psalms. She was an avid painter and loved to paint angels and crosses. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Smith, Sr.; and her parents.

Esther leaves four children, Arthur Smith, Jr. of Jonesboro, Bellecinda Hailey and her husband Glen of Blytheville, Lester Ingold of Arizona and Julie Stockdale of Arizona; one sister, Cindy Yarbrough and her husband Craig of Colorado Springs, Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 13th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas.  Graveside services under the direction of Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Ross Cemetery, Hwy 283 North in Baird.
