Grabiel Olvera Cerda

Grabiel Olvera Cerda left this life on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at the age of 49. 

He was born October 11, 1970 in Abilene to Pedro G. and Concha Olvera Cerda.  He attended Baird High School, and went on to make a living working road construction.  Grabiel loved riding his motorcycle. He was a loyal friend and loved to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Grabiel Jacob Cerda, Jr.; brothers Frank, Manuel and Arthur Cerda; and sister Estella Moreno.

Grabiel is survived by Christina Cerda and their children, Steven W. Rodriguez, Emily R. Cerda, and Monica N. Cerda; grandchildren Eli J. Rodriguez and Rhody P. Rodriguez; brothers Pedro Jr., Carlos, Joe, Michael and Matthew; sisters Lydia Hernandez, Yolanda Torres, Concha Ramirez and Rebecca Carrion.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Ross Cemetery Annex in Baird, with Brother Jimmy Hatcher officiating.  Pallbearers will be James Hopkins, Danny Bell, Frank Cerda, Jr. and Franklin Gomez.
