Judy Harris,76, a lifelong resident of Baird, passed away on June 1, 2022 at Hendrick Hospice Care Center in Abilene.

Good things come in small packages. Judy was a very petite woman, but she had a heart of gold as big as Texas. She was very hard-working and retired from Goodwill after more than 20 years of service. Gardening, fishing, singing and caring for animals brought her much pleasure. Above all, being a Mom was her greatest joy and privilege.
Preceding her in death are her parents, brother Jacky Lee Tollett, sisters Bobbie Jean Christison, Bessie Pearl Groce, and Shirley Ann Brashear; and stepdaughter Vickie Thomason.
She is survived by her beloved son Bradley Darren Harris of Baird; stepchildren Lisa Harris and Billy Paul Harris; sisters Lora Tollett of Baird, and Clara Buchanan of Pearland; numerous nieces and nephews, and Billy Doris Harris.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Ross Cemetery Annex, Hwy 283 North in Baird. Pallbearers will be Tommy Whitecotton, Gregg Holland, Walt Tollett, Kevin Curtis, Jimmy Curtis and Bradley Harris.
Judy was a very loving, caring and generous mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was adored by many and will always be in our hearts. Although time will pass, our cherished memories will never fade.
