Norman Cranford Obituary

Norman Gale Cranford went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, March 22, 2021, at the age of 77.

Norman was born July 12,1943 in Winters, Texas to W.H "Boots" and Cleo Mansell Cranford. He married Jacinta Long August 14, 1965 and the couple had one daughter, Cynthia Cranford Slate.

Norman went into the Army after high school to serve his country. When he returned he married Jacinta, whom had grown up while he was gone away. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He gave the love of the outdoors to his daughter. He loved spending time with family. Especially his great-granddaughter Trinity Slate.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, a brother, Pee Wee Cranford, sister Betty Diese, and his in-laws whom he loved as his own parents, Alton and Wanda Long 
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jacinta; his daughter and son-in-law law Cindi and Joey Slate; great-granddaughter Trinity Slate; four grandsons, Andrew, Adam, Jason and Justin and 3 great-grandsons, Liam, Noah and Kai; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 26, 2021 at Hawley Cemetery.  He will lie in state at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E. 3rd Street in Baird,  from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday, March 25, 2021 and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday.
