Patricia "Pat" Davidson

Patricia Ann “Pat” Davidson of Abilene passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the age of 78.

Pat was born Christmas Day, 1944 in Tyler, Texas to Charles Gray and A.D. Steelman Gurley.  She married Thomas January 12, 1974, and the couple was married 44 years before he preceded her in death in 2017.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Abilene for 25 years, participating in small groups and Bible studies. Pat loved her family, and especially loved “nudging” them into games of Words with Friends, just so she could beat them.  She also enjoyed coloring books.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, son William “Billy” Arrendell, mother A.D. Gurley and father Charles Gray, and grandson William Thomas Arrendell.

She is survived by her son Michael Arrendell and wife Serena of Abilene; granddaughters Kara Quiroz and husband Josh of Abilene and Mykaela Arrendell and Fiance’ Jason DeLeon of Abilene; grandson Mychael Arrendell and girlfriend Halie Carlson of Abilene; daughter-in-law Janelle Hagg of Abilene; great-grandchildren Bryce Quiroz and fiancé Selena Salazar, Gavyn Quiroz,  Karris Poulton and Paisley Quiroz, all of Abilene; a great great-grandchild, Atlas Quiroz, son of Bryce and Selena, and many friends and extended family.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E 3rd Street in Baird.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Trinity Baptist Church, 871 Woodlawn in Abilene, with Pastor Kevin Kennedy officiating.  Burial will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday at Ross Cemetery in Baird.
