Sharon Kay Jobe

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Kay Jobe, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her home in Putnam, Texas. She left this life to be with the Lord at the age of 72.

Sharon was born in Abilene, Texas on December 4, 1948, to C.J. Campbell and Helen Simmons. She grew up in Abilene, Texas and attended school at Cooper High. Sharon loved fishing and spending time outdoors, everyone will always remember Sharon’s feisty nature, endless love and support she provided for her children and grandchildren. Later in life, Sharon loved visits from her children and grandchildren whom she adored.

Sharon was preceded in death by parents C.J. Campbell and Helen Simmons, Grandparents Henry N. Campbell and Josephine “Josie” Campbell and brother Ronnie Campbell.

Sharon is survived by her brother Mickey Campbell, Children Kenneth W. Sikes, Shelly R. Hicks, James R. Elliot, Amanda LeAnne Jobe and Candy DeAnne Ryan, Grandchildren Ariel Beth Hicks, Taylor Renee Hicks, Lauren Hicks, Aurora Jane Sikes, Nicole Sikes, James Andrew Elliott, Curtis Brady Elliott, Aubrey Michelle Elliott, KyLeigh Nichole Wheeler, Adrian James Wheeler, Skyler Daniel Baker, Stoney Ray Ryan and Kaylee Briann Ryan and 8 great grandchildren.

Family and friends of Sharon Kay Jobe are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service and viewing. The viewing will be held a Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home located at 141 E 3rd Street, Baird, Texas 79504 on Saturday, April 24, 2021, between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will take place Sunday, April 25, 2021, beginning at 11:00 AM at the Belle Plaine Cemetery located 8 miles south of Baird.
